Sailing trip in Vigo
April 1, 2020 - April 5, 2020£540.00
This is a sailing trip starting and ending at Vigo, Spain, aboard our yacht, Jalapeno. Situated in the heart of Ria de Vigo is a beautiful cruising area, sheltered from the North Atlantic swell by the Isles Cies, at the entrance to the Ria. It is the furthest south of several other sheltered Rias, offering plenty of opportunity to explore this historic, wild and peaceful area. The itinerary will be weather dependent, but there are plenty of options which ever way the wind blows! If you sign up for this trip, we will send you excerpts from the Cruising Galicia Pilot Book to help you be part of planning the five day cruise. You are welcome to stay onboard the night before/after to help with travel.
Sail Boat Project is a uniquely vegan and vegetarian sailing organisation. You are of course welcome to eat what you like ashore, but rest assured we keep our boats well stocked with plenty of tasty and healthy food to satisfy everyone onboard. Offering plant based meals is part of our commitment to reducing our organisation’s impact on the planet. Your booking also contributes to our Community Sailing Fund, widening access to the sea for a range of community groups. Though the Fund we offer sailing activities at subsidised rates to increase confidence and learn new skills.
